When did Lightyear Frontier leave Game Pass?

The official announcement was published on March 2, 2026, and the game left on March 15, 2026. That was before the 1.0 launch on November 4, 2026, so 1.0 has never been a Game Pass title.

The timing matters: many "Game Pass day one" lists still include Lightyear Frontier from its 2024 Early Access launch. Those lists are outdated.

How do you play it now?

Buy the game on Steam or the Xbox store. The current price is $23.99 during the 20 percent launch discount; the standard price is $29.99.

• Steam: the PC version, with crossplay to Xbox.
• Xbox Series X and S: the console version, also crossplay-enabled.
